Innovative materials for sustainable water technologies

Materials are at the center of every water technology, influencing how effectively we treat, reuse, and manage water, while also setting the limits of what can be practically achieved.

We will focus on advances in materials science together with a better understanding of the processes in which these materials are used. Topics will include nanoconfinement, material functionalization, and the more thoughtful use of materials.

This session will highlight how material design can support the development of more sustainable water treatment processes.
